Dear Middle School Families,
Welcome back! I hope the break was restful and restorative for all. The faculty, staff, and I look forward to the good, long academic stretch of the next few months.
While there’s lots going on, I hope you will make time to join us next Thursday for the presentation by Dr. Elizabeth Englander, a nationally recognized researcher and expert in the area of bullying and cyberbullying, childhood causes of aggression and abuse, and children’s use of technology, Dr. Elizabeth Englander. To learn more about Dr. Englander, click here. Information about her presentation can be found in the News and Announcements section.
In this week’s Middle School Newsletter you will find an inspiring “Faculty Voices” column by Athletic Director Sam Landau, information about our upcoming Geography Bee, an update about our Grade 6 Robotics bid, a reminder about the School-wide MLK Brunch, and details about the week ahead.
Best of luck to our novice Speechies on their weekend tournament. And, I hope many students and families will join our Parent Association for Sunday’s annual Skating Party.
Have a good weekend,
Will
