Dear Lower School Families,
I trust that you enjoyed yesterday’s snow day, and I thank you for the great efforts made to get the children to campus this morning. While it was a short day, the students and teachers managed a full day’s worth of learning and, as the day warmed, some time for snow fun!
In today’s Lower School Newsletter you will find information about next week’s Grade 2 and Grade 4 celebrations, two announcements from our Lower School Parent Association, dates to add to your calendar, and updates for the week ahead.

Due to yesterday’s storm and this morning’s delayed start, the Grade 4 Arts Assembly will be held next Friday, February 17 at 8:30 a.m. We hope that you will be able to join us!
Important Reminders
Last Chance to Share Contact Information for Lower and Middle School Grandfriends’ Day, Friday, May 12––In late March, invitations will be mailed to our students’ grandparents and intergenerational friends. To confirm that we have the correct addresses on file, or to share the names and addresses of those whom you’d like invited, click here. Please complete this form by February 15.
The Week Ahead
Grade 2 Family Museum Celebration, February 16, 8:30 a.m., Junior Building––Grade 2 students will share what they’ve learned about families and about the similarities and differences among families both at Milton and around the globe. We invite parents to join us for this special event.
Lower School Assembly, Friday, February 17, 8:30 a.m.––Grade 4 students will share their work on artists they studied from the summer and fall.
Early Release Day––Special Programming Skating Lessons Available, Friday, February 17––Lower School Students will be dismissed at noon. Contact Noah Spofford to register your child for After School Programming.
No Classes in Observance of Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 20––When classes resume on Tuesday, we will follow a Monday schedule.
