Dear Middle School Families,
It’s been great to welcome the students back following the vacation. Some rest and relaxation appears to have suited everyone well. I think a few of the students grew a few inches in those two weeks, too! We’re quickly building momentum back as we start these exciting last months of the school year. Spring sports are getting going—despite the winter weather—and we had another fantastic turnout in our second affinity and discussion group open house on Wednesday. Classes are quickly getting rolling, too.
In this week’s Middle School Newsletter, you will find a wonderful reflection by Grade 7 Life Science teacher Sue Austin, a request from our Grade 6 team, and details about the week ahead. Note that tomorrow’s speech tournament has been postponed to May 21 because of the predicted snowstorm.
Next week, on Wednesday, we will host the students admitted to our Middle School. It is a great day to showcase all that is wonderful and special about Milton. That afternoon, several of our athletic teams will open their competitive seasons. We look forward to seeing you on the sidelines!
All the best,
Will
