In theater, no “person is an island.” To share a story on stage requires a myriad of collaborators, including a director with a vision, actors who can bring the characters to life, and techies who can make sure we are cued and ready to go.
Fortunately, for the 2016 spring play, we have:
- three directors: two Upper School students who are making their directorial debut, together with freshmen, Abby Foster and Jocelyn Sabin, and eighth grader, Ashley. Their job is to help focus the story in an imaginative and entertaining way.
- In our Becky Mode play, the main character Sam, an unemployed actor in New York City, tries to make a living at a fancy New York City restaurant. But, her job is anything but easy. As you shall see, the lead character is presented with a plethora of challenges!
- Techies Avery, and Daisy share their creative genius in our show.
This production is a nine rehearsal wonder! Join us on Thursday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. or on Friday, May 20 for our Middle School performance. Don’t be late for our Fully Committed show!
