On Monday, June 6, we will be collecting all School-issued Chromebooks and their chargers. Students are expected to return both in working condition. If your child’s Chromeboook is either missing or not functional, we will need to charge your child’s IA for the full amount of a replacement device.
For students in Grades 6 and 7: Over the summer, Chromebooks will be updated and returned to them in September. Note that summer work may require access to a computer. If returning your child’s Chromebook for the summer creates a hardship, email Bridget Sitkoff by June 1 to arrange to borrow one.
For students in Grade 8: This spring, the Upper School implemented a “bring your own” laptop policy for the coming year. We shared this information with you on April 29. Details about the new policy are available in the Centre Connection parent newsletter, and through this link. If purchasing a laptop will present a hardship to your family, please contact Miles Bailey at 617-898-2233.
