Who: Everyone is invited to join us for this new Lower School Tradition! Students will attend with their teachers. Parents can meet us there.
What: We are formally recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of our Grade 5 students.
When: June 7, from 8:30 -10 a.m.

Details for Grade 5 Families
- Dress: Girls – A simple summery and cool white outfit. Boys: White dress shirt, khaki pants, and a blue blazer.
- Following the ceremony, Grade 5 students and their parents are invited to a reception in their honor in Thacher.
- During the reception, we will present a short slideshow of “Grade 5 students then and now.” By June 1, send Marlena two pictures of your child:
- A baby picture (something before the age of 1)
- A Kindergarten picture (school photo if you have it)
- We will use the Grade 5 play headshot for the current photo
- After all the celebrating, students will return to their classrooms to change their clothes and complete the day. Please send casual clothes (don’t forget shoes) for your child to change into.
- Dismissal is at 3 p.m.
Details for K–4 Families
- Students need to wear Special Occasion Dress (what is called Chapel Dress in our Middle and Upper Schools): smart, dress-up attire.
- Following the ceremony, K–4 students will return to their classrooms to change their clothes, partake of a special School-provided snack, and complete the day. Please send casual clothes (don’t forget shoes!) for your child to change into.
- Dismissal is at 3 p.m.
