Dear Lower School Families,
This morning’s Halloween parade was a wonderful celebration of our community and our children. Click here to view the photos of the children as they paraded throughout the entire Academy. What a joy to watch them as they passed through the Student Center and received small gifts from the Upper School students.
We look forward to having you join us at next week’s discussion with Charles Fadel. As I shared a couple weeks ago, Mr. Fadel is working with Milton Academy as we “consistently and rigorously renew our curriculum.” His presentation with parents next Thursday, November 3 will provide a lens into his work with us as well as a discussion of the skills and competencies that students will need both at Milton and beyond.
In this edition of the Lower School Newsletter, you will find important information about Mr. Fadel’s presentation on Tuesday evening, as well as about ordering school photos. The newsletter also includes reminders about our upcoming Open House, events to add to your calendar and updates for the week ahead.
I reach out on behalf of Meg Burke, K–8 Director of Admission, to let you know that there are still lawn signs promoting the Open House available if you’d like to volunteer your lawn for a week.
Enjoy your weekend,
Racheal
